Karen R. Plantz's Obituary
Karen R. Plantz, 71, of Vero Beach, FL passed away Monday, December 26, 2011 at the Indian River Medical Center.
Mrs. Plantz was born December 13, 1940 in Columbus, NE. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 2004, coming from Port Saint Lucie.
She was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Bernard; son, Steve Plantz of Vero Beach; daughter, Lashelle Halligan of Crete, NE; brother, Gary Robertson of Columbus, NE; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, and her parents, Herschel and Winona Robertson.
Services will be held at a later date in Nebraska.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County, Attn: Connie Cotherman, Asst. Development Director at PO Box 644, Vero Beach, FL 32961.
