Karl Hollers, Jr., 79, died December 10, 2011, at the Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Blowing Rock, NC, and lived in Vero Beach since 1960, coming from his birthplace.
He was an Air Force veteran, having served in Korea immediately following the war.
Before retirement, he was the parts manager for Arnold Ford Sales in Vero Beach for over 30 years.
He was a founding member and past president of the Indian River Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Hollers of Vero Beach, sons Daniel Hollers of Las Cruces, N.M. and Michael Hollers of Vero Beach, sister Janice Shatley of Collettsville, N.C., three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
