Kathryn A. Benner, 83 of Barefoot Bay, FL died October 21, 2008 at Holmes Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 5, 1925 in Rodchester, NY, and had been a resident of Barefoot Bay for the past 22 years coming from Geneseo, IL.
Prior to retirement she was an officer for Bank of Silvis in Silvis, IL for 20 years. She was a member of the Lady of Moose, Sebastian, FL, and was the past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, Geneseo, IL.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years William Benner of Barefoot Bay, FL; son Dana Benner of Indianapolis, IN; daughters Diane Featherston of Spencer, IN; Susan Cline of Indianapolis, IN; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Contributions may be made the American Diabetes Association, Ft. Lauderdale FL Office 1500 W Cypress Creek Rd, Suite 104, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.
A memorial service will be held at Friday, October 24, 2008, 1:00 PM at Sebastian River Moose Lodge # 1767, Micco, FL.
