Kenneth D. Fuchs, 72, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.

Born on June 28, 1953, in Emmetsburg, Iowa, to Darlow and Donna (Ryon) Fuchs, Ken built a career in civil engineering before retiring. In October 2017, he and his wife, Janet Love, relocated from Glen Burnie, Maryland, to Vero Beach to begin a new chapter together.

Ken's life was enriched by a wide array of passions. He and Jan shared a love for "so bad they're good" horror films, classic black-and-white movies on Turner Classic Movies, and the gritty drama of Peaky Blinders. Music was another constant in his life—whether enjoying the quirky energy of NRBQ or the timeless rock of the Rolling Stones. An avid motorsports fan, Ken rarely missed a Formula 1 race.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Janet Love of Vero Beach; his mother, Donna Fuchs of Parker, Colorado; his sister, Marnie Martin, and her husband, Ron, of Aurora, Colorado, along with their children Russell, Aubrey, Lex and Juliette; his stepdaughter, Kendel Hannon, and her husband, Devin, of Pasadena, Maryland, and their children Jackson and Olivia; his mother-in-law, Clara Love of Vero Beach; three sisters-in-law, Ana Fuchs of Denver, Colorado, Ann Pavicevic, of Parker, Colorado, and Paula Love of Lincolnton, North Carolina and her son Christopher.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Darlow Fuchs, and brothers, Lyle, William and David Fuchs.
