Kenneth N. Tatarsky, 87, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Tatarsky was born September 6, 1921 in Chicago, IL and moved to Vero Beach in 1988 from
Hannibal, MO.
Prior to his retirement Mr. Tatarsky had been a model maker in the display advertising industry. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Coast Guard. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Jewish War Veterans Post 506, a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels in Vero Beach, and a member of American Youth Hostels and the Hannibal Arts Council.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Grace Tatarsky of Vero Beach; daughter Lisa Kouzoukas of Westford, MA; sons Bruce Tatarsky of Nashua, NH and Marc Tatarsky of Dallas, TX; and two grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Greg Tatarsky in 1981.
Services: A Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon, Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach with military honors provided by VFW Post 3918.
