Kevin D. Bies, 58 years old, passed away unexpectedly on October 13th, 2022, in his home in Vero Beach, Florida.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Marjorie Montag of Minnetonka, MN. His sister, Lori Thomas of Minnetonka, MN. His nephew, Jamel Thomas (Danielle) of Minnetonka, MN.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Bies of Mankato. His step-father, William Montag of Mankato. His grandparents, Helen and Peter Bies of St.Paul, MN. Maternal Grandmother, Erva Haugen of Kenyon, MN.

Kevin graduated from Mankato East High School in 1982. He enlisted in The United States Army in July of 1983. His basic training was in Fort Sill, OK. He then served his remaining time stationed in Germany.

Kevin was an all around exceptional athlete, loved to play golf, and always had a home for a stray dog or cat. Kevin made his career in heating and air conditioning in Vero Beach and owned his own business, Killer Bies Air Conditioning, Inc.

He was loved very much by his family and will always be our KiKi.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory at 2:00 PM.

If you wish, a memorial may be given in Kevin's name to the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County.
