Kimball A. McMullin, 92, of Vero Beach, Florida died Thursday, April 16, 2009. Kim was born in Newton Center, Massachusetts on December 19, 1916. Son of Roy Alexander and Crete Kimball McMullin. Kim graduated from Amherst College in 1939. He married Anne McAlpin Forbes in 1941. From 1942 to 1945 he served in the U.S. Navy. Kim worked with his father as a sales engineer for Stephens Adamson Manufacturing Company, and later worked for Stone & Webster Engineering in Boston, Mass.
Kim is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years Anne and three sons, Dr. Forbes Alexander McMullin and Kimball Ray McMullin both of St. Louis, Missouri, and Raymond David McMullin of Oakland, Maine, and a sister Janet McMullin Hugenberger of Wellesley, Massachusetts, a sister in law Barbara McMullin of Wayland, Massachusetts, eleven grandchildren, Forbes A. McMullin, Jr., Ashley McMullin Hansen, Birch Oliver McMullin, Katherine Graverend McMullin, Karyn McMullin Roy, Christopher Kimball McMullin, Janet McMullin Tinker, Anne McMullin Benninger, Amy Kathryn McMullin, Alexander Donaldson McMullin and Jefferey Raymond McMullin, and three great-grandchildren, Albert Grant Hanser, Tuckerman Kimball Roy and Hayes Forbes Hanser.
Mr. McMullin was predeceased by two brothers, Donaldson Ray McMullin and Robert Drummond McMullin, and a grandson Nicholas Edwin Forbes McMullin.
Services will be private at the request of the family.
