IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Laura Ellen
Hemmings
January 6, 1951 – April 26, 2022
Laura Ellen Hemmings passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2022, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Laura was born January 6, 1951 to Harold and Margaret Nielsen (nee Flynn) and grew up in Ridgewood, NJ. Her love for theater led her to become an active member of the Ridgewood High School New Players Company where she made many long-term friendships. Laura graduated from Katharine Gibbs School which led her to many prominent executive assistant positions over the course of her career.
After the loss of our father, she moved to Vero Beach, Fl to to raise her son, David, amongst family. After the loss of our mother, she became the matriarch of the Nielsen family. Each member of the family has benefited from her guidance, compassion and generosity.
Her sense of adventure took her on many travel journeys with some journeys left to be fulfilled.
Predeceased by Harold and Margaret Nielsen; nephew Jason Troisi.
