Lawrence Lopez's Obituary
Lawrence Lopez, 89, of Fort Pierce, died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Lopez was born November 24, 1921 in Havana, Cuba. He had been a resident of Fort Pierce for over 15 years, coming from Miami.
He served in the United States Navy, and was a member of the American Legion.
Lawrence worked as a graphic artist.
Survivors include his daughter, Duare Lightner of New Paris, OH; sons, Larry Fried of Baltimore, MD; Dale Lopez of Davie, FL; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Wasserman.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Indian River State College Foundation at 3209 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34981-5596.
