Lawrence "Pat" Welch, 78, of Sebastian, passed away unexpectedly August 18, 2021 .  He was born in Pittsfield, MA and had been a resident of Sebastian for 20 years, having relocated from Massachusetts.  He had worked as a quality control inspector for General Electric before retirement.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was a 4 ^th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and had volunteered at the Sebastian Inlet State Park.  Pat was a lover of sports, and especially loved all of the Boston teams.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anne Marie Welch of Sebastian; sons, Kevin Welch of Davenport, IA and Keith Welch of Albuquerque, NM; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a sister, Kathleen O'Brien of Austin, TX.

Mass of Christian Burial:  9:45 AM, Monday, August 23, 2021 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
