Lee Herbert Horsley

Vero Beach - Lee Herbert Horsley passed away on May 3, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic IRC Hospital.

Herb was born August 19, 1936 in Midland Michigan. He attended Michigan State University, and earned a Masters Degree in Marketing and Journalism. He began his business career with his family in retail sales. This adventure took him, his wife (and business partner) Emelie, and children to establish many wonderful businesses in such places such as Mackinac Island, MI, Palm Beach, FL, Hilton Head, SC, and finally in Vero Beach, FL. They began a very special 30+ year experience operating a shop called Trafalgar Square in the Village Shops on A1A. There, Herb's special love came to life with his ability to buy and sell rare books and unique items of interest. After their retirement, he and Emelie moved to Advent Christian Village in north Florida where they enjoyed peaceful times on the Suwannee River, and were given the opportunity to develop a small retail shop that would provide extra income for the community. He and Emelie finally moved back to Vero Beach to be among family and friends.

Herb is survived by his wife of 57 years Emelie, his sister Barbara, Brother Geri, his sons Carl, and Christopher. His daughters Catherine, Cheryl, and Margaret. As well as many grandchildren.
