Leila "Lee" Budelli, 83 of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 19 with family members by her side at the VNA Hospice of Indian River. Lee was born on June 6, 1933 to the late Anthony and Marie Russo in Port Chester, NY. She grew up and spent her adult life in the tri-state area. She worked for Pepsico in Purchase, NY in a variety of capacities for more than 30 years. Shortly after retiring, she and her husband Peter relocated to Vero Beach from Greenwich, CT. She was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.

Lee is survived by her husband Peter A. Budelli. Peter and Lee had been together for the past fifty years. She is survived by her children, daughter Cheryl Ragonese and husband Stephen, daughter Linda Gierer and husband Vincent, and son Stephen Bocek and wife Dawn. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Stephen Ragonese, Samantha Crociata and husband Stephen, Emily Bocek and Daniel Bocek. She had one great grandchild, Rosalie Crociata. Lee was predeceased by her first husband, Stephen J. Bocek, Jr. of Tarrytown, NY, her brother James Russo and her sister Joan Norberto. Her niece, Kym Norberto of Sebastian, Florida provided loving support and assistance since Lee's relocation to Vero Beach. The family will receive friends at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home located at 1950 20th Street, Vero Beach on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 4:00 - 5:00 PM, followed by a service at 5:00 PM.
