Leon Lee Cohen, 80, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Palm Gardens of Vero Beach.
Mr. Cohen was born May 17, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Vero Beach in 2007 coming from Owings Mills, MD.
As an Independent Sales Representative he had owned Muncy Electronics. He was of the Jewish Faith and served in the US Navy. Mr. Cohen was a member of the Electronics Representatives Association, a Model Train enthusiast and fisherman, and active Boy Scout volunteer and leader,
Survivors include his wife of 32 years Margaret K. Cohen of Vero Beach; son Howard Cohen of Malta, NY; daughters Randi Freedman of Moorestown, NJ and Jamie Breazeale of Ellicott City, MD; step-daughters Wendi Scheeler of Sebastian, FL and Heidi Schevker of San Diego, CA; a sister Henrietta Fine of Philadelphia, PA; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services: A memorial celebration will take place 3 PM, Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral in Vero Beach with Rabbi Michael Birnholz of Temple Beth Shalom in Vero Beach officiating.
