Obituary

Leonard Kenyon, 88, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at his Fellsmere residence.
Mr. Kenyon was born February 16, 1920 in Yates, NY and moved to Vero Beach in 1959 from Middleport, NY.
He was a retired military officer and veteran of WW II having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include his daughters Cathy Hinkle of Fellsmere, FL, Patricia Fuller of Vero Beach, FL and Gloreen Brandreth of Phoenix, AZ, a son Dr. David MacIntosh of Traverse City, MI; sister Gloria Collins- Roehner of Vero Beach; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years Doris Kenyon and a son Willliam L. Kenyon.
The family will receive friends 4-7 PM, Sunday, June 15, 2008 and 12-1 PM, Monday, June 16, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 1 PM, Monday, June 16, 2008 at the funeral home with Brother James Hinkle of Shiloh Youth Ranch officiating. Interment with military honors provided by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3918 will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
