Leonard A. Pfau, 87, of Fort Pierce, FL died Monday, September 14, 2009 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Ft. Pierce.
Mr. Pfau was born December 11, 1921 in Saginaw, MI and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1994 from his place of birth.
He was a 65 year member of the IEBW and had worked in the Saginaw area as an electrician. Mr. Pfau was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Army for 39 months as an engineer in the 96th Combat Army Division in Okinawa and Leyte. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Saginaw, Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach, FL and the Masonic Lodge in Saginaw.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years Elizabeth Pfau of Ft. Pierce, FL; three sons Darryl Pfau of Kalamazoo, MI, Douglas Pfau of Shepherd, MI and Dwight Pfau of Marietta, GA; and six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother Lawrence Pfau and a sister Madeline Hellus.
Services: A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach.
