Leroy Bowden's Obituary
Leroy Bowden 65, of Countryside, Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, November 19, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Bowden was born September 27, 1946 in Midland City, AL and moved to Vero Beach in 1986 from Lake Wales, FL.
He had been an Airport Specialist at the City of Vero Beach Municipal Airport prior to his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith.
His survivors include his daughter Norma Jean (Armirio) Perasa of Vero Beach; two sons Christopher and Joshua Bowden of Avon Park, FL; sister Judy (Byron) Connelly of Lake Wales, FL; and eight grandchildren including Alexandra Perasa, Ashley Lomaneck and William Lomaneck.
Services: The family will receive friends 2-3 PM, Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Cox-Giford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A Life Celebration Service will begin at 3 PM at the funeral home with Chaplain James Ogden of the VNA Hospice officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach, Florida. Condolences may be sent through www.coxgiffordseawinds.com
