Obit: Lewis Clair McCully
Lewis Clair McCully, 73, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the VNA/Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. McCully was born June 12, 1937 in Vero Beach and returned to Vero Beach from Cincinnati, OH after his retirement.
He was a graduate of Vero Beach High School, Class of 1955, served four years in the US Navy where became an aviation electrician. He then spent the next 30 years in South Florida working for several commercial airlines: Eastern, National, Pan American and ended his career with Delta Airlines in Cincinnati, OH. Mr. McCully also held a private pilot and flight engineer license and was a member of Kings Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
He is survived by his five children Tim McCully of Orlando, FL, Cindy Duffy of Davie, FL, Michael McCully of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jim McCully of Orlando, FL and Susie Rigsby of Clermont, FL; a sister Sandra Pyles of Toledo, OH; a brother Keith McCully of Vero Beach, FL; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services: The family will receive friends 2-3 PM, Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a memorial service beginning at 3 PM with Pastor Frank Ellis officiating.
