Lila L. Woodworth, 84, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Woodworth was born January 13, 1926 in South Bend, IN and moved to Vero Beach in 1981 from Indianapolis, IN.
She graduated high school in 1944 in Ft. Wayne, IN and went to DePauw University for one year before going to the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing to become a registered nurse. Mrs. Woodworth was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary I.R. Flotilla #56 and of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her grandchildren Jamison Woodworth of Houston TX, Lesha Woodworth of Humble, TX and Heather Woodworth of Reno, NV and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald Woodworth sons Craig Woodworth and Scott Woodworth and brother Jack D. Childers.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Christ by the Sea United Methodist Church in Vero Beach.
