Linda Jean Rooney, 61, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, September 10, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Rooney was born August 23, 1949 in Amityville, NY and moved to Vero Beach in 2001 from Bath, ME.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, George Rooney of Vero Beach, sons Earl Rooney of North Monmouth, ME, Geoffrey Rooney of Harpswell, ME, and John Rooney of Lewiston, ME, daughter Lori Rooney Wilmington, NC, mother Bertha Freeman of Palmer Lake, CO, brothers Karl Freeman of Palmer Lake, CO, John Freeman of Arizona and Mark Freeman, and eight grandchildren.
Services: Her life celebration service will be held 2 PM, Friday, September 17, 2010 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with Dr. Charles Lever of the First United Methodist Church, Vero Beach presiding.
