Linwood D. Snead "Lin", 91, of Vero Beach died Saturday, September 15, 2012 in West Palm Beach.
Lin was born March 1, 1921 in Charleston, WV. At the age of five he and his family moved to Covington, VA. Later her served in the Army Air Force, and was discharged in 1946.
He married Virginia "Ginger" House and they had three children, Gregory, Scott and Julia. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Vero Beach. He was also a member of the Aware Sunday School class. He was a driver for the Indian River County Ambulance Service.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Vero Beach.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach. Online condolences may be sent at www.coxgiffordseawinds.com.
