Obit: Lois Marie Daniels

Lois Marie Daniels, 90, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.

Mrs. Daniels was born April 12, 1921 in Indianapolis, IN and moved to Vero Beach in 1944 from Tallahassee, FL.

She had been the Office Manager and Bookkeeper for Golden River Fruit Company prior to her retirement. Mrs. Daniels was a member of King's Baptist Church in Vero Beach and had served as an officer in the VFW auxiliary.

Survivors include her daughters Sandra Daniel of White City, FL and Penny Crowe of Vero Beach, FL; sons Gene Daniels, Jr. and Richard Daniels both of Okeechobee, FL; a brother David Harlan of Crawfordville, FL; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother Sonny Harlan and a sister Mildred MacNeal.

Service: The family will receive friends 6-7 PM, Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a Life Celebration Memorial Service beginning at 7 PM.
