Lois Arlene Scott, died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Scott was born April 26, 1919 in Evansville, Indiana. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1976 since coming from Saudi Arabia.
She was a private music instructor in Indian River County for the last 30 years. She was a professional violinist.
Survivors include one son, John C. Scott, Cobleskille, NY, three daughters, Karen Thomson of Forsyth, MO, Alice C. Scott of Los Angeles, CA, and Michaela Carlini of Alexandria, VA, one sister, Ester Anderson of South Dakota and six grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, John D. Scott and a granddaughter, Barbara Keyes.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Community Church of Vero Beach.
