Lorraine M. Petrone, 80, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.

Mrs. Petrone was born July 18, 1931 in Albion, RI and moved to the Treasure Coast 18 years ago from North Palm Beach, FL.

She had been a CNA with the Douglas Agency and several other nursing agencies on the Treasure Coast for 18 years. She was a proud 26 year member of AA, serving with care and compassion.

Survivors include her son Ron Remillard of Argyle, NY; daughter Debbie Remillard of Albion, RI; son Michael Remillard of Saucier, MS; daughter Sandra Johnson of Stuart, FL; daughter Gail Forbes of Royal Palm Beach, FL; son Gary Remillard of Warwick, RI; son Scott Petrone of Green Acres, FL; brother Jean Paul Riendeau of Stuart, FL; brother Camille Riendeau of Woonsocket, RI; brother Emile Riendeau of Woonsocket, RI; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchldren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Louis Remillard; her second husband Joseph Petrone; and a brother Wildor Riendeau.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation at 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Services: A memorial service will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the Salerno Southern Methodist Church, 4899 SE Ebbtide Avenue, Stuart, FL 34997.
