Lorraine Jane Roberts, 85, of Vero Beach, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Roberts was born April 6, 1927 in Shrewsbury, MA. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for 34 years, coming from Fort Lauderdale. Lorraine was of the Catholic faith and attended Saint Helen Catholic Church. She volunteered for the Indian River Medical Center Auxiliary for 24 years, and logged over 14,000 hours of service. Survivors include her sons Charles E. Roberts III of Vero Beach, FL, William A. Roberts of Homestead, FL, and Peter M. Roberts Vero Beach, FL; daughters Sandra L. Roberts of Davie, FL and Amy R. Klemann of Melbourne Beach, FL; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles E. Roberts Jr; and by her parents Maxime and Alexandra Sansoucy. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Saint Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
