Lorraine Santora, beloved mother, mother-in-law, grammy, and recent great grammy, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2021 at the age of 82. She was born March 11, 1939 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn to Joseph and Mary Durinick.

Lorraine went to Dominican Commercial High School in Queens, New York. After starting her career at Western Union, she commuted from Eastern Long Island to NYC to work at Wilfred Academy on Broadway. Some of Lorraine's fondest memories, though, were from her 25 years working at Longwood School District in Middle Island, New York.

After retiring, her world revolved around spoiling her granddaughters, traveling, enjoying art, and living life to the fullest. Lorraine found beauty in everything -- from nature to the many special people she surrounded herself with. She was vibrant, generous, and always seized the moment. She believed that laughter was the best medicine, and would light up every room with her smile, even during her last dim days.

Lorraine was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Anthony (Tony) Santora and her younger brother, Joseph Durinick. She is survived by her only daughter Lisa Vivirito and son-in-law Nicholas (Nick) Vivirito, granddaughter Stephanie Vivirito and her fiance Zachary (Zach) Owen, granddaughter Lauren Vivirito Phillips, grandson-in-law Stephen Phillips, and great granddaughter Madeline Phillips, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who were dear to her heart.

A Celebration of Lorraine's Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Rock City Gardens, 9080 US-1, Sebastian, FL 32958.
