Lou S. Munger, 89, of Vero Beach, died Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
Mr. Munger was born April 1, 1922 in Hart, MI. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from Grand Rapids, MI.
During WWII, he was a merchant marine and traveled the world as First Mate.
Before his retirement he employed by Grocers Dairy at Country Fresh in Grand Rapids.
Survivors include his daughters, Lauren Munger of Boulder, CO; Heidi Gustafson of Alto, MI; son, Shawn Munger of Seattle, WA; sister, Maureen Munger of Grand Rapids, MI; two grandsons; and one great-grandson
Services: A memorial service will be held at a later time.
