Louis V. Barrese of Vero Beach, FL passed away on August 23, 2018 at the age of 83.

He was born in Port Chester, N. Y. on September 10, 1934 to the late Santo and Antoinette (DiLorenzo) Barrese.

Louis attended Port Chester schools and served in the U.S. Army.  Upon discharge, he attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City.   Early in his career he worked for Terrytoons as an animator and did animation on the Flintstones for Hanna Barbara.  After that he was employed in painting and decorating until his retirement.

Louis is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Veronica (Masi) Barrese, his sons Christopher of Trumbull, CT and Louis A. of Vero Beach, FL, and many nieces and nephews.

Lou enjoyed drawing, watching golf and football on t.v., and good Italian food.

He is predeceased by sisters, Jennie, Angelina, Rose and brothers, Pat, Frank, Anthony and Joseph.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at ST. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
