Obituary

Louis P. Genereux, 85, of Ft. Pierce, passed on March 29th, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Born in Providence Rhode Island on May 2nd, 1929, he had been a resident of Ft. Pierce since 1997, coming from Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Louis is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marie Lillian (Pepin) Genereux, his daughter Karen, son-in-law Dan, and grandsons Ryan, Colin, and Logan Smith of Denver, Colorado.

Louis served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 251 for 38 years prior to retirement from the Almacs Food Distribution Center in 1990.

Louis was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, an avid reader and cribbage master.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on May 2nd at 10:00am at St. Helen's Catholic Church, Vero Beach, Florida. On July 25th a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Edwards Church Pawtucket, Rhode Island at 9:30am. Interment of his ashes will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in his memory to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5090 Dunn Road, Ft. Pierce, Florida 34981.
