Obit: Louis P. Murphy
Louis P. Murphy, 75, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, January 5, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Murphy was born September 15, 1933 in St. Louis, MO and moved to Vero Beach eleven years ago from Hollywood, FL.
Prior to retirement he had worked for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller in Miami, FL, retiring after 34 years .
Survivors include a daughter Barbara Smith of Plantation, FL; brothers George Murphy and Charles Willison both of St. Louis, MO; and two granddaughters.
He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years Madeline Frances Murphy.
Services: A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, January 9, 2009 at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach with Dr. Les Koerselman officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
