Louis Ezra Reno, 81, of
Okeechobee, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011,
at Lynmore at Lawnwood Assisted Living Facility
in Ft. Pierce.
Mr. Reno was born Nov. 26, 1929, in Sarasota.
He had been a resident
of Okeechobee
since 1968, and a
lifetime Florida resident.
In April, 2011, he
committed his life to
Jesus Christ as his
Lord and Savior.
His interests included
leather crafts
and art.
He was the owner
and operator of Lou Renos Saddle Shop in
Okeechobee.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50
years, Betty Jean; daughter, Judy Lynn Lineberry;
parents, Lavere and Louise; sisters, Lavere
Accursio, and Dorothy Flowers.
Louis is survived by his sons, Jeff (Carole)
Reno of Okeechobee, Roy (Julie) Reno of Okeechobee,
Gene (Gwen) Reno of Madison, Fla.;
daughter, Jeri Reno of Okeechobee; sister, Betty
Ann Kinsey; four grandsons; three granddaughters;
and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may
be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, P.O. Box
1548, Okeechobee, FL 34973.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon,
Friday, June 17, 2011, with a funeral service
starting at noon at the Buxton Seawinds Chapel.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in
Okeechobee.
