Louise Hurst Bass, 85, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, June 11, 2010 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
Mrs. Bass was born December 28, 1924 in Winter Beach, FL and has been a lifelong resident.
She worked for Deerfield Packing House for 44 years was a member of The First Church of God in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her sons Robert Bass of Rossville, GA and Joe Bass of Rossville, GA, daughters Rose Watson of Jacksonville, FL, Frances Roe of Houston, TX, Barbara Rice of Vero Beach, and Patty Bass-Cribbs of Callahan, FL, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Howard Bass and twin infant boys.
Services: The family will receive friends 4-7 PM, Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A funeral service will follow at 2 PM, Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Adult Day Care Center at the Senior Resource Center, 694 14th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960-5770.
