Lyle Ira Reed, 76, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL.

Mr. Reed was born February 2,1935 in Grand Rapids, MI and moved to Vero Beach in the early 1970's from Michigan.

He had been in the music industry and had served in the US Navy. He was a member of the VFW Post 3918, American Legion Post 39 and Order of the Eagles.

Survivors include his son Lyle Reed, II of Vero Beach and a grandson.

Services: A memorial service will take place 10 AM, Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Memorial Island in Vero Beach with military honors by VFW Post 3918.
