Lynne D. Oakley, 76, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away January 22, 2016 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL. Lynn was a native of Long Island, NY and moved to Vero Beach twenty-five years ago from Long Island.

Prior to retirement, she was employed for the Riverside Theater, Vero Beach and Council on Aging.
Lynn was a member of Kings Baptist Church, Vero Beach, FL, where she enjoyed the Bible Study group and Lynn loved dogs.

Lynn is survived by her husband of 37 years, Robert of Vero Beach, sons, Hal Oakley, and his wife, Joan of New York and Robert Oakley, and his wife, Chris of New York,, daughters, Lois Solorzana and her husband, Carlos, of Virginia, Lori Desantis and her husband, Lenny of New York, and Kelly Giewat and her husband, Gary, of New Orleans, 12 grandchildren, a sister, Pat James and a brother, Don Simko and his wife, Helen, of Pensacola, FL and is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Scott.

A celebration of Lynn's life will be at 11:00 am, Friday, January 29, 2016 at Kings Baptist Church 3235 58th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL.
