Mabel Trissilla Phillips, 82, of Vero Beach, passed away on Tuesday, October 08, 2013 at her home.

Ms. Phillips was born October 17, 1930 in Trussville, AL. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1973, coming from Alabama.

She attended First Covenant Church in Vero Beach.

Affectionately known as Nana, she was known and loved by many. She is survived by her children, Clinton Hunt of Vero Beach; Clifford Hunt Ortonville, MI; Londa Barreras of Lakeland; Sandra Devoe of Vero Beach; Todd Bergen of Bushnell; Lew Allen Hunt of Vero Beach and Dorothy Thomas of Sebastian; brothers, Julius and Roland McGowan; sister, Elizabeth Needham and Marie Osborne; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, James Phillips; daughter, Janice Sue Dye; son, Boyd Edward Hunt and 4 siblings.

Services: A visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 9:30-10:00 am with a service starting at 10:00 am at First Covenant Church in Vero Beach. A private burial will follow at Winter Beach Cemetery.
