Obituary

Mae R. Wynne, 79, of Lakewood Village, Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Wynne was born August 27, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Vero Beach in 1980 from Olney, MD.
She was a hostess/waitress for the Vero Beach Yacht Club and a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter Susan Davies of Cranberry Township, PA; sons Albert Schmidt, PhD of Hopkinton, MA and Daniel Schmidt of Lighthouse Point, FL; daughters Mary Bowling of Clayton, NC and Patti Vandale of Butler, PA; brother Father Paschal Kneip, O.S.B. of Chincoteague Island, VA; sister Carol Mason of Vero Beach; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wynne was predeceased by her husband Emmett J. Wynne, daughter Janet Schmidt, son Norman Schmidt and brothers Arthur Kneip, John Kneip and Anthony Kneip.
Services: The family will receive friends 6-8 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2008 and 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a prayer service at 6:30 PM on Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM, Monday, March 3, 2008 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL.
