Malcolm B. Rice passed away on March 11, 2018, at the age of 85 in Vero Beach.  Mal attended college in New Jersey at Rutgers and Seton Hall Universities.   He enlisted in the Army and served in the Korean War.  Mal represented the State Mutual of America of Worchester, MA and was appointed to the position of the General Agent for the Philadelphia region.  After relocating to Florida, he obtained his Community Association license and eventually created his own property management firm, Rite Property Management.  Entering his retirement, Mal began a writing career and published four fiction novels.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Laura, of Vero Beach and his two cherished daughters, Marcy Ellen (husband, Gary Dickstein) of Palm Gardens, FL  and Joanne (Joe Murphy) of Stuart, FL.  Mal also leaves three grandchildren, Alyssa, Amanda (Nick) and William (Julie); and one great-grandchild, Malcolm.  There will only be a private family remembrance observed.
