Manuel Mendoza, 89, of Vero Beach passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

Mr. Mendoza was born December 15, 1922 in Mexico. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 5 years, coming from Mexico.

Survivors include his daughters, Margarita Flores of Vero Beach; Deborah Bosquez of Atlanta, GA; Maria Luisa Garcia of Waco, TX; and Magdalena Gracia of Atlanta, GA; sons, Jose Roberto Mendoza of Houston, TX; Misael Mendoza of Houston, TX; Saul Mendoza of Mexico; 2 sisters; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Juana Sanchez; and son Isaias Mendoza.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with a service starting at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Templo Cristiano Magdiel located at 125 27th Avenue SW, Vero Beach, FL 32968. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
