Mara Daz, 71, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the Indian River Medical Center.

She lived in Vero Beach for 14 years, coming from South Carolina.

Ms. Daz love cooking and was a member of the St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL.

Survivors include her sons, Juan Borja of Melbourne, FL; Alfredo Daz of Vero Beach, FL; Marcelino Daz, Jorge Daz and Alejandro Daz all from Mxico; daughter, Guadalupe Daz of Mxico; brother, Juan Daz of Mxico; and sister, Atanasa Daz of Pompano Beach, FL; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral home from 6 - 8p.m.
