Margaret Saeger Callahan of Vero Beach, FL died at her home peacefully Wednesday, December 7, 2022. She was 90 years old.

Marge was a top producing real estate broker in Virginia for over 30 years until she moved to Vero Beach in 2004. Marge was born to the late Cecil and Eva Sager in Cambridge Springs, PA. She graduated from Cambridge Springs, PA High School.

Marge loved to ballroom dance and going on cruises. Though not a swimmer, she loved the water and boats. She was also an accomplished pianist. She was married to Charles Hardeson (deceased) of Alexandrian, VA. She was previously married to Col. Joseph J. Callahan of Meadville, PA.

Throughout her life she lived in many places including Pennsylvania, Germany, North Carolina, Maine, Kansas, Colorado, Virginia and finally Florida.

Marge is survived by her five children: Cecilia A. Callahan, of Charleston, SC; Susan E. Callahan of Vero Beach; Joseph P. Callahan of Hollister, CA; Michael J. Callahan of Valley Grande, AL and April J. Callahan of Leesburg, VA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren

Marge had a wonderful life! She did everything she wanted to do and loved every minute of it! She was blessed with many wonderful friends. She will be greatly missed and loved.

A service to celebrate her life will be held in Pohick, VA in the spring. Date and times will be announced.
