Margaret Clark Menzies of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Menzies was born in Cairo, WV and moved to Vero Beach in 1990 from St. Cloud, FL.
She was a graduate of Pine Grove High School, Pine Grove, WV and Ohio University in Athens, OH. She was a retired Medical Technologist and Elementary School Teacher/Librarian. She began her teaching career in Broward County, Florida and taught over 20 years in Wood County schools in Parkersburg, WV before retiring.
Mrs. Menzies was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 187, Pompano Beach, FL; Phi Mu Fraternity, Wood County Education Association, West Virginia Education Association, and Delta Kappa Gamma, teachers honorary.
Survivors include her son William E. Menzies, of Vero Beach.
She was predeceased by her son Leslie "Joe" Clark Menzies, R.Ph. and her parents Fred R. Clark and Lelia McGregor Clark.
Services: The family will receive friends 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach immediately followed by a Memorial Service at the funeral home.
