Margaret "Peg" Dwyer of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away on September 3, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Peg was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on November 30, 1943 and spent the happiest years of her life on 842 Bassett Road, Watertown, Connecticut. She was an excellent fisherman, an enthusiastic gambler, and had a knack for always winning at family games. Peg loved her kids, her grandchildren, and above all others, her beloved husband of 49 years, Ed.
Peg is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Ed; her six children, Tracey (Tom), Bill (Rachel), Rob (Tania), Dan (Samantha), Eddie (Dawn), Jonathan, and her 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her sister, Noreen Benjamin, who lovingly cared for her in her last days, and her brothers, John Leyden, Bill Gallagher, and Joe Gallagher.
A service celebrating Peggy's life will be held at 4:00 on Friday, September 29th the First Congregational Church of Watertown, 40 DeForest Street, Watertown, CT. The family would like to extend an invitation to join them at a reception after the services at the VFW Hall, Route 6, Watertown.
