Margarita de la Rocha, 100, of Vero Beach, FL died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center.
Mrs. de la Rocha was born April 2, 1910 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and moved to Vero Beach in 1996 from Miami, FL.
She worked for the Department of Revenue State of Florida in Miami as a Secretary and was a member of Living Lord Lutheran Church in Vero Beach. She was also a member of the Friendship Club and Council On Aging where she played Bridge.
Survivors include her daughters Victoria M. Phillips of Vero Beach and Elvira M. Bernstein of Miramar, FL; and one granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her sister Nellie Azar, sister Estella Mejia, brother Alejandro Ricart and sister Lillian Ricart.
Services: A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday 16, 2010 at the Living Lord Lutheran Church in Vero Beach with Rev. David Charlton officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
