Marian L. Stough, 80, of Wabasso, FL died Monday, January 26, 2009 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Marian was born August 16, 1928 in Wabasso where she remained a life long resident..
She was active in the production of citrus, serving as the Comptroller of Deerfield Groves in Wabasso and personal assistant to A. B. Michael. She was a member of St. Elizabeths Episcopal Church in Sebastian, FL, the Common Cents Club and the Lunch Bunch in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her longtime companion John Mickey Russell; daughter Barbara Krieger (Art); son Terry Stough (Maribeth); brother Billy Wilkerson; grandchildren Robbie Helpling, Keith Helpling, MariAnn Hutchinson, Melissa Albright, Jason Krieger; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy F. Stough, Jr. and a sister Betty Jean Terrill.
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A life celebration service for Marian will begin at 11 AM, Friday, January 30, 2009 at the funeral home with Rev. Father Dave Newhart officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
