Marie Elaine Nece (nee Fraley) 76, of Vero Beach, FL passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 11, 2024.

Marie was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 4, 1947 to the late Harry and Mary Fraley.  She married the love of her life, Robert Nece, on June 20, 1970.  Bob and Marie raised their family in Palmyra, NJ before retiring to Vero Beach, FL in 2001.  Marie was a manager at John Wanamaker and J.C. Penney for over 30 years.  She also volunteered at the animal shelter and Harbor Branch.

Marie enjoyed bird watching and wildlife drives with Bob.  She also loved shelling in Sanibel, gardening, spending time with family and friends and, of course, petting any dog that she encountered.

Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Bob "Nece" and her brother, Joseph Fraley.  She is survived by her sons Mark (Jacqui) Nece of Palmyra, NJ and Daniel Nece of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren Ashley, Emma, Tyler and Jason; her brother Harry (Kathy) Fraley; many nieces and nephews as well as her Village Green family.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Palmyra, NJ on May 4, 2024, further details to be announced.  Family will receive guests on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Marie's home from 2-4 pm.
