Marie C. Piper, 100, of Vero Beach, passed away on January 11, 2013 at Rosewood Manor in Vero Beach.

Mrs. Piper was born May 6, 1912 in Mahanoy City, PA. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1980, coming from Alexandria, PA.

She was a member of Community Church in Vero Beach, and served as an usher for 25 years.

She lived in Village Green in Vero Beach, and was a member of local bridge clubs.

Survivors include her sons; Robert Piper of New Holland, PA, William Piper of Landisville, PA, and Richard Piper of Avenel, NJ; brother, George Phillips of Tennessee; her 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years years, George Piper.

A memorial service is planned for later date at the Community Church in Vero Beach, FL.
