Marie A. Renzi Szkotak, 57, of Vero Beach, FL died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Szkotak was born July 19, 1950 in Utica, NY and moved to Vero Beach in 2005 from her place of birth.
She was a graduate of St. Elizabeths College of Nursing and had been an LPN at St. Lukes Hospital in Utica. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach and worked at the office of Dr. Robin Atwell.
Survivors include her husband Richard Szkotak of Vero Beach;step-children John Szkotak of Verona, NY, Brian Szkotak of Brushton, NY and Kathy Szkotak of Yorkville, NY; a brother and sister-in-law Louis and Fran Renzi of Port St. Lucie, FL; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Louis Wegee and Mary Renzi, and a sister Roseann LaFache.
Services: The family will receive friends 6-9 PM, Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon, Saturday, March 29, 2008 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
