Marilyn Lee, 79, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
Mrs. Lee was born October 25, 1928 in Augusta, ME and moved to Vero Beach 8 years ago from Westbrook, Maine.
She was a member of Prides Corner United Church of Christ where she sang in the choir. Mrs Lee had been a group leader of Campfire Girls, member of Westbrook Republicans, Ladies of Kiwanis and the Prides Corner Garden Club. She attended Westbrook Junior College and graduated from Gates School of Business in Augusta. She was employed by the Maine Turnpike Authority in their fare collection and purchasing departments in Portland, Maine.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years Edwin C. Lee of Vero Beach; son Jeffrey R. Lee of Durham, ME; daughter Deborah Perry of Sidney, ME; brother Bruce P. Trott of Eliot, ME and six grandchildren.
Services: Mrs. Lee will be transported to the Plummer Funeral Home in Augusta, ME for final services. A service of Christian Burial will take place 2pm, Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Augusta, ME. A memorial service will be held in June in Augusta.
