Marilyn Thomas, 74, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, FL. Marilyn was a native of Detroit, Michigan.
Marilyn was an Adjunct Instructor for Indian River State College.
Marilyn was a member of Vero Beach First Church of the Nazarene.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 47 years, Morgan Thomas, daughters, Julia Jones, Dawn Thomas, Colleen Thurston an her husband, Grant and Sarah Hayzlett and her husband, James, and son, Morgan Thomas Jr, and his wife, Kristine, brothers, Loren Gerber and his wife, Lucille and Daniel Gerber and his wife, Lori, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be Thursday, August 20, 2015, from 5:00 till 7:00 pm, at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm, at Vero Beach First Church of the Nazarene, 1280 27th Ave, Vero Beach, FL. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm.
