Obituary: Mario J. Ricci
Mario J. Ricci, 89, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
He was born September 18, 1919 in Chicago, IL and moved to Vero Beach in 1979 from his place of birth.
Mr. Ricci was a veteran of the United States Army Air Cory and served during WWII.
Prior to his retirement he had been an automobile salesman for Porsche-Audi of the Palms in Palm Beach, FL. Mr. Ricci was a member of St. Helen Church, the Italian - America Club, and the Vista Royale Bowling and Golf Leagues.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary E. Ricci of Vero Beach; son Don Ricci of Vero Beach; sister Clara Pasquala of Perkasie, PA; and several grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother Alfred Ricci.
Service: The family will receive friends 4 - 7 PM, Friday, January 9, 2009 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at St. Helen Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce, FL.
