Marion A. Flood, 92, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, August 3, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Flood was born March 21, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY, grew up in Yonkers, NY and moved to Vero Beach in1959 from Gainesville, FL.
She had been the president of the Womens Auxiliary of the Vero Beach Power Squadron and a member of the Indian River Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Pink Ladies.
Survivors include her son David Flood of Seattle, Washington; daughters Eileen Shirah of St. Cloud, FL and Mary Ann Flood of Gardner, CO; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Flood was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Dr. C. Crosbie Flood, former Director of the Indian River County Health Department, and a son Dennis Flood.
Services: A private family service will take place at a later date.
